Mission Israel: Evangelism Amongst the Arabs Begins

After being blessed with successful outreach to the Hebrew speaking people of Israel in phase two of IRR/TV’s media evangelism, which was preceded by ministry directed at Russian speakers in the Holy Land; July see the launch of a public partnership between IRR/TV Ministries and the Palestinian Churches in Israel.
Right now, IRR/TV’s Arabic Ministry Department is awaiting the results of negotiations with Channel One in Israel which will see evangelistic television programs in Arabic, with subtitles in the Hebrew language. According to IRR/TV’s U.S. Missions Director, David Ogren, we are treading in new territory. To the best of his knowledge, no one has ever before combined outreach to both the Arabic and Jewish peoples of Israel.
IRR/TV’s Arabic Department has a special heart some of the Palestinian extremist factions and is excited that the media outreach will be seen in both the West Bank and Gaza as well as the Sinai and Lebanon.
There is a high cost to being a Palestinian and a disciple of Jesus Christ and evangelism will not be welcomed in many quarters. Because of the sensitive politics in this region, this mission may be considered to be dangerous, so we ask for your fervent prayers, not only that precious souls will be reached, but for the safety of all our team and the partnering Arabic Churches.
